Arkansas rapper Bankroll Freddie Arrested for Drugs and Firearms


Arkansas rapper Bankroll Freddie was arrested Thursday on drug and weapons charges after being pulled over for speeding, police said.

The 27-year-old “Drip Like Dis” artist, born Freddie Demarus Gladney, was arrested by police in Marion, Arkansas around 6:30 p.m., police said.

Bankroll Freddie was allegedly in possession of 21 pounds of marijuana – which is banned in the state, 171 grams of promethazine and a firearm.

He was convicted of drug and arms trafficking and imprisoned in Crittenden County.

The rapper is signed to Quality Control Music and Motown Records and has collaborated with artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz and Lil Yachty.

He was only just arrested, perhaps you mean CHARGED, not convicted.

If he had a prior conviction, then you could point that out. Wheels of justice turn slow in the US, so this isn't likely to be resolved for 1.5 to 3 years.
