Britain’s Strongest Man 2022 Results

As per the exclusive reports, Tom “The Albatross” Stoltman has won the 43rd edition of Britain’s Strongest Man. He successfully managed to defend his BSM title on 26 February at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield, England, alongside 10 other tenured competitors. Pa O’Dywer came at the 2nd position, while 2020 BSM winner Adam Bishop came at the 3rd position. The winner, Stoltman has won four events out of five, and become the first to win the BSM back-to-back since 2017 World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall who won five consecutive titles from 2014 to 2018.

Who won Britain’s Strongest Man 2022?

In the first event (Shield Carry for Distance), Tom Stoltman won the event with a distance of 65.3 meters and was announced as a Giants Live world record. Later, Tom again won the second task (Axle Deadlift for Reps) in which he completed six successful reps before time ended. In the third event (Axle Press for Reps), he completed 6 reps and won the task again. He lost the fourth round called Sandbag Toss. The third event was called Atlas Stones in which the participants had to lift five stones, ranging 120 to 200 kgs to each of their respective podiums in one minute. Tom Stoltman completed this task in less than 22 seconds.

Talking about Tom Stoltman, he is a British strongman competitor from Invergordon, Scotland who was born on 30 May 1994. On June 20, 2021, he won the 2021 World’s Strongest Man competition and become the first man to win the World’s Strongest Man from Scotland. At the age of 5, he was diagnosed with autism. He is married to Sinead since 2015. He is a big-time supporter of Rangers FC.
