Missing Thai Actress Tangmo Nida Found Dead in Chao Phraya River



Thai Actress Tangmo Nida Patcharaveerapong Death Cause: The body of Thai actress Nida Patcharaveerapong was found floating in the Chao Phraya River on Saturday afternoon (Feb 26). she is 37-years-old. The Thai newspaper The Bangkok Post said she fell from a speedboat on a river cruise on Thursday night. She was not wearing a life jacket at the time.

She was searched after she disappeared in the river, and her brother was the one who found her body. It was located about a kilometer from the crash site, near the Rama VII Bridge in Nonthaburi province, northwest of Bangkok.

Local police are still investigating the cause of her death. However, they said the speedboat driver did not have a valid driver’s license.

The other five people on the boat in the fall – including Patcharaveerapong’s personal manager – made reports to local police for questioning.

The actress’ mother, Panida Sirayutthayothin, suggested her daughter’s death could not have been an accident.

“Somebody might be upset that Tangmo is there,” she said, using the nickname Patcharaveerapong among fans.

Patcharaveerapong posted her last post on Instagram before her fall on Thursday — she has 1.5 million followers.

“The sun is rising again,” she wrote in the caption of the post, which included footage of her enjoying the sand in Phuket.

Patcharaveerapong has been active in the Thai entertainment industry for almost 20 years, first appearing in beauty contests as a model. She recently starred in the TV series “Falling Leaves” (2019).
